"Kids Design Glass" showcases the best glass art that has sprung from the minds of children at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Washington. Kids visiting the museum are encouraged to draw their ideas, and glass artists turn the best ones into three-dimensional pieces. Artists such as Dante Marioni, Preston Singletary, and Lino Tagliapietra have participated in the program. The book includes 52 works of art with full-color photos of the glass piece and the original drawing. A comic-book style booklet, "Pip! The Baby Monster and How He Was Made at the Museum of Glass" and a DVD, "The Making of Recycle Robot," are included.
