While Dale Chihuly is celebrated for large architectural installations, he is equally acclaimed for the creation of many well-known smaller sculptural works. The first of these series, the Cylinders, emerged in 1975, followed by the delicate Seaforms, the exotic Persians, and the exuberant Venetians.
