Katherine Stankard Campbell of Wenonah, NJ uses flameworking and painting on glass as a basis for her work in glass. An artist with Stankard Studios, Campbell has been working with glass since 1995 with her father, Paul Stankard.
She is currently focusing on a series of Paphiopedilum Orchids encased in crystal. Orchids can convey a wide variety of messages, historically the meanings of orchids have included wealth, love, beauty and strength.
