Jacks
A tool with two metal blades joined at one end by a handle. The distance between the blades is controlled by the glassworker, who uses jacks, or pucellas, to form the mouths of open vessels.

Parchoffi
Wooden or Graphite bladed jacks used to open large vessels without leaving the marks that steel jacks can. Parchoffi are the most useful tools when smooth curves and graceful transitions are the objective.

Shears
A tool used to cut molten glass: trim excess, cut and shape bits, handles, blown feet and more.

Soffietta
A puffer used to further inflate a vessel after it has been removed from the blowpipe and is attached to the pontil.

Tagliol
Metal paddles ideal for sculpting areas of molten glass.

Tweezers
A tong-like, multi-purpose tool used to grab, sculpt, or otherwise manipulate hot glass.
